UNM-Gallup TRIO UPWARD BOUND Scholars Summer Enrichment

Students from Bike Clubs throughout the district were recognized at today's school board meeting for the great success of their First Annual Bike Rally. Thank you to Silver Stallion Bike & Coffee Works, the volunteers, parents, R&D warehouse, and SFE for helping make this day one to remember!

Today, our School Board members, Superintendent Mr. Hyatt, and the CCCR Team recognized Tohatchi High School's Business Teacher, Ana Tapel, and BPA National Finalist, Catherine Denetclaw, who competed in Florida last month.

To mark the end of an amazing school year, Ms. Ong’s class in Red Rock Elementary transformed their classroom into a magical campsite filled with tents, fairy lights, and cozy corners. The room was buzzing with excitement, snacks, and camp treats, creating a warm campsite celebration. The celebration honored the incredible progress and successes each student made throughout the year. After sharing campfire stories and snacks, the class watched a movie together, making the final day not just fun but memorable. It was a wonderful year of growth, collaboration, and endless celebration! 🌟

Gallup High School celebrated its Senior Awards Day this morning. They were honored with certificates, stoles, and other recognitions for completing their achievements. And Mr. Jim concluded the senior awards ceremony with a traditional Mountain Song, offering our students a message of leadership, strength, and guidance for the journey ahead.

Students in Ms. Furney's class put on a wax museum. They researched an important historical figure and created a project and a speech.
